Card Present and Card Swiped or Imprinted - A mobile retail business is one that may exhibit at temporary shows or may travel to their customers to conduct business. To be considered a mobile retail business, the cardholder and the merchant must be face-to-face. If the merchant has a mobile credit card machine, the card must be swiped. If not, an imprint of the card must be made to demonstrate that the card was present. Either way, the receipt must be signed and retained by the merchant.

Mobile Businesses - Traditional mobile businesses include landscapers, home repair companies, delivery companies, vendors and craft fair merchants.
